How to install genuine windows 10 without a product key
Ok guys so this will be a simple guide on getting you to Windows 10 legally but without the key. If there is just that one thing Microsoft cannot escape, "friendliness". So here's how:
NB: THIS IS APPLICABLE FOR A CLEAN INSTALL
I take it you now have the legit copy of windows 10 at hand. if you bought an original disk, it should have the key and this blog is entirely not for you. then if you downloaded the windows 10 from the official Microsoft website downloads portal then you are my buddy. See be sure to have not downloaded the 90 days evaluation copy as that will not fit here and expires in 90 days so ya.... get downloading the full version.
now lets install: Restart PC and tap F12 for boot menu, that is having created a boot media be it a stick/thumb drive or DVD-Rom media. Select appropriate media to boot from. Windows shall load files and don't interrupt. On the next window, Select language and region settings and click Next. It should ask you for a product key, click skip instead and proceed to accepting the weird terms and conditions, choose custom install as we are not doing an upgrade, get to select a partition and off to boot. get a drink meanwhile coz it will take it's time there!
Windows has adopted a new communicating funny method. then They will say it is now time to enter a key, go to your bottom left of your screen and find do this later. Don't be shocked if you will have to do this twice, It is how it is done. after let it create your desktop and once you're welcome, welcome:
BE AWARE THAT WIN10 IS A DATA CHOWER. so if you are in a limited data plan, be careful as it:
- Installs Coartana right after install with internet connectivity
- Installs offline maps based on selected region
- Deploys updates
- Install a lot of unneccessary stuff.
All this and other I am lazy to mention will make upto 6GB of data size and can be disabled.
So now you have Windows 10 and not activated. I will blog on further more activation and tweaks as I am observing it.You will be able to use the OS just that you wont be able to personalize it, the desktop background you may using the traditional way! Lock Screen and Other, NOP
